The Site: Eversleigh Road, Belmont, Auckland.

The Project: Resource consent was approved for four new dwellings. This was challenging as the zone the site is located in anticipates two storey buildings, and the proposal was for three.  With careful design the bulk of the building was able to be reduced and Council were satisfied that it would be in keeping with the surrounding area.

Goal: To obtain resource consent

Outcome: Consent approved November 2021

The Value: Worked closely with the Architect (OPA Architects Ltd) as this was a challenging site with a zone that anticipates two storey buildings, and we got a resource consent approved for three story development.  With careful design and planning guidance, the bulk of the building was able to be amended to Councils satisfaction.
