The Project:
Thomas Consultants was engaged by Kainga Ora for design and monitoring of the new 5 story Housing Apartment block comprising of 28 one and two-bedroom apartments forming part of their push to provide social housing with high rise intensity. The professional services offered by our Surveyors and Engineers included the initial due-diligence, feasibility studies and concept layout designs for Resource Consent and Environmental Protection Authority. At the construction stage our monitoring team worked with the partnered contractors and subcontractors to help solve problems and mitigate many of the risks and challenges associated with this project, delivering the 224c (subdivision) and final completion certificates well within the time frame.
