The Project:
This work involved firstly dismantling the existing equipment in the two current play space areas and packaging for donation. It also required the removal of the existing timber benches and some trees to make way for a new combined play space. Construction works involved the installation of a new larger, combined play space with bespoke equipment, drainage improvements, timber edging, garden area and new concrete and gravel pathways.
The Goal:
To replace the existing failing play spaces with a new larger, combined play space that park users can enjoy.

Thomas Consultants offered our project management services to enable delivery of this project. We ensured that the project was delivered in accordance with the approved design, that the resource consent conditions were adhered to and that the necessary compliance certifications were obtained to provide a fun, safe facility for park users to enjoy.
